We have 2 Sunday services at Whitehill: 9am and 5:30pm
Both services go for about one hour and 15 mins. Each service features contemporary style worship songs (with some older hymns from time to time for the 9am service) with a worship band consisting of drums guitars, piano and various other instruments.
At each service, there is time set aside for Communion where we remember what Jesus did for us in dying on the cross in our place. Everyone is invited to join in this time for reflection and remembrance.
There is also a sermon on the topic of the day presented in a way that relates the Bible to our personal circumstances. You’ll discover how relevant the Bible can be.
Dress as you feel comfortable. Some like to dress up and some prefer a casual approach. It’s up to you.
During our 9am service, we run a children’s program for children from 1 year old to Year 6 during the school term.
You are most welcome to sign your kids in with trained leaders before 9am. That way, you can enjoy your time in “big church” being able to fully participate in what is going on secure in the knowledge that your children are being safely looked after in a purpose-built environment just for them.
For youth in grades 7-10 we run “small groups” during the service with our Youth leaders. Youth come into church and stay through the worship and communion then go out with their leaders.
Our 5.30pm service has more youth and young adults but not exclusively so. The music at night is a little more “up-beat” but features the same elements as the morning service.
